Which is the best course after diploma? Is AMIE the best option for me?

I m Electrical Diploma holder. I have passed my diploma in 2005. But i have experience of 3 years in data entry operator. So i want a degree or course in computers with cheap rates. I want to do AMIE. Is this best for me and clear or not?
