Hello,
As you might be aware that IBPS conducts Common Written Examination for the recruitment for the PO,Clerks,Specialist Officers.

Those clearing these CWE by the IBPS can apply against the vacancies for the interview process by the IBPS participating banks as per the cut-off marks which varies from bank to bank.

So far the IBPS have conducted two CWE for the posts of Probationary Officers (PO)i.e,in 2011 and 2012 respectively.

So you might have to wait a little for the next PO CWE by the IBPS.

Also you can apply for the SBI against their vacancies if announced in the near future or any other IBPS non-participating banks.

The 19 participating banks are as-:

1.Allahabad Bank
2.Indian Overseas Bank
3.Andhra Bank
4.Oriental Bank of Commerce
5.Bank of Baroda
6.Punjab National Bank
7.Bank of India
8.Punjab & Sind Bank
9.Bank of Maharashtra
10.Syndicate Bank
11.Canara Bank
12.Union Bank of India
13.Central Bank of India
14.United Bank of India
15.UCO Bank
16.Dena Bank
17.Corporation Bank
18.Vijaya Bank
19.Indian Bank

The educational qualification required for PO is a graduate or equivalent.
The minimum age is 20 years and the maximum age limit is 30 years with a relaxation of 3 years for OBC,5 years for SC/ST and 10 years for PHD candidates mostly.
