Re: What are the best career options after graduation?

Dear Friend

There are lots of career option after bachelor's degree in commerce and master's degree in commerce .

From my point of view instead of going for the higher exams like Phd or research ,you should try for the some of the most sought entrance exams.

As you mentioned that there is a gap of ten years and also you have not mentioned your present age so it is very difficult to tell whether you are eligible for the entrance exam or not.

But donot worry ,there is an entrance exam called NET which stands for the National Eligibility Test.

As you have done your master 's degree in commerce this would the best exam for you to become a lecturer in government colleges if you crack the exam as:

>>Minimum qualification for the exam is master's degree.

>>You must ensure that you have minimum of 55 % in master's degree for applying for the exam.

>>There is no upper age limit for the lectureship. The age limit for the JRF is 28 years.

The best thing is that you donot have to worry about the number of attempts for the exam .you can go for lots of time till you become successful

It is conducted twice every year. For any more details ,please visit www.ugc.ac.in

Hope the information helps you.If you have any other query regarding this then please leave here .We will try to get back to you as soon as possible.

All the best for your career.

You have not mentioned your age as today age also matters for applying to jobs both in private sector as well as Government sector.

If you ahve interest in teaching fileld than you can apply for the UGC NET exams.
Minimum eligibilty to apply for the UGC NET exam is Post Graduation Pass with minimum 55% marks
There is no age cap to apply
If you clear this exam than you would be able to apply for the Asst Professor jobs in Colleges

If you are below 28 years than you can apply for the BANK clersk jobs
If you are below 30 years than you can apply for the BANK PO Exams

You can also apply to jobs in Private sector.
For this you can search for jobs through job portals like naukri.com, timesjobs.com

Re: What are the best career options after graduation?

As you have completed your studies long before, it is better for you to go for any short term courses. Courses related to tally or computer applications will be suitable too. It is possible for you to try for a job based on such courses. Otherwise, you can try for NET. NET qualified candidates can work as Asst Professor in colleges.
