Re: Is it possible to do MBBS in UK after BDS? hi i m tazeen . i m studying bds in meghna institute of dental sciences but i m interested to do gynecology or cardiology.so plz can u let me know the procedure to take admission in mbbs after bds .mbbs which is of 3 years after bds.can u suggest me the colleges in india and abroad.the colleges which gives mbbs degree of 3 years after completion of bds degree. |

Was doing a bit of research on the net and was looking at possible career pathways after BDS. I was thinking about doing OMFS (oral and maxillofacial surgery) and it requires a dual qualification in both dentistry and medicine. Was just wondering how do you apply for medicine after you have graduated with a BDS. Do you have to go through UCAS again and do a personal statement. Would the chances of getting in be good because you already have a dental surgery degree? Also what is the duration of the graduate med course? Surely you wont have to take the first year again since you have already covered it with dentistry? Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance. |
