Hello, NDA Stands for National Defence Academy examination and this examination is conducted by Union Public Service Commission twice in a year as namely NDA I and NDA II . If you have completed 12th standard from recognized board with science department you are applicable for NDA exam. You have completed 12th with Bio science department so you are applicable only for Indian Army but not applicable for Indian Navy Exam. But your age should be in between 16.5 to 19 years.There are no are no age relaxation for Reserved category . Only unmarried male candidate are applicable for NDA exam.You must have citizenship of India. The selection procedure for NDA exam is 1) Written Test. 2) Personal Interview. ALL THE BEST |

Re: How to join Air Force after completion of 12th class with Non Medical stream? Hi dear..  You can join Air Force after your +2 is done from Non-Medical Stream. For this you have to appear in NDA (National Defense Academy) Exam conducted by UPSC ( Union Public Service Commission) twice every year. The General Eligibility criteria for this exam is stated below (Considering Air Force Requirements) > You should have passed +2 from any recognized board/University. > You should be between 16.5 to 19 years of age. > Only unmarried male candidates are allowed. > Nationality : Indian > The candidate should have 6/6 corrected vision without glasses. Eligibility for NDA Entrance Exams As to be eligible for the NDA army wing a candidate needs to have passed 12th class in any subject stream. For the NDA Air force wing and the Navy, each of the candidates needs to have passed 12th class in science subject with PCM subject under the state board or its equivalent. The age of the candidate must be in between 16 ½ to 19 years. Candidates must also meet the physical fitness standards as laid out by the NDA. |

As you want to join Indian Air Force after completion of 12th from non medical stream which means you will be definitely from PCM stream which is a main criteria to join Indian Air Force through NDA EXAM. NDA- NATIONAL DEFENCE ACADEMY exam conducted by UPSC two times every year as NDA-I and NDA-II for entry in to IndianArmy, Navy and Air Force wings of NDA. The eligible candidate must be an unmarried Indian male within the age group of 16.5 to 19 years of age having either appeared for the final 12th exam from any stream or passed from a recognised Central/State Board with good physical fitness can apply for NDA. The candidate having 12th qualification with Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics is eligible to apply for all the wings of NDA along with Indian Air Force. For further information you may log on to www.upsc.gov.in Further you can apply for Air Man Entry exam of Indian Air Force with your aforesaid qualification within the age 17 to 22 years of age. As you have said that you have completed 12th class from non medical stream that means you are from PCM stream.So you can join in Indian Air Force by appearing NDA exam. NDA exam is conducted by Union Public Service Commission every year twice,to take qualified students into different defense service like Indian Navy Indian Army and Indian Air Force. To appear for NDA(Indian Air Force) you should have complete 12th class with PCM stream from a recognized university and your age should be between 16 1/2 to 19 years. Once you fulfill with this criteria,then you can appear for NDA exam. NDA-I exam notification released on 31st Dec 2011,closed on 30th Jan 2012.And exam going to held on 15th April 2012. Through NDA exam one can join in different sector of Indian defense.. Eligibility for NDA exam:- For Indian Air force wing:- 1.Candidate has to complete the 12th class with physics and maths as compulsory subjects.. 2.Candidate who is appearing for Board exam can also apply for the exam. 3.Age should be in between 16.5-19 years. 4.Candidate must be physically fit.. 5.Candidate should be a citizen of India. These are the eligibility criteria you have to fulfill.. So, if you have had maths and physics in 12th class , then you are eligible for the exam. All the best. |
