Is the BCA degree from Shobhit Universityin distance education mode is eligible taking admission in another University like IGNOU in MCA program or can recognize for any government job ?

In order to be eligible for MCA program from a recognized Institute, candidate must have completed the Bachelors degree program from a recognized University with a minimum of 60% aggregate marks. Admission to the program is based on entrance test. Non Technical graduates must have studied Maths in the +2 level of exam, however, for Technical Graduates including BSc [IT] there is no such compulsion. The duration of the program is three years.

As far as the recognition of the distance program of Sikkim Manipal University is concerned, it is recognized by the University Grant Commission [UGC], Distance Education Council [DEC], UGC-AICTE- DEC Joint Committee. Hence, the University is well recognized and candidates obtaining degree from it are eligible to participate in any competitive exam as well as for Higher Studies in recognized Institutes given one must fulfill the other eligibility criteria.
