National Aptitude Test in Architecture (NATA) is conducted by National Institute of Advanced Studies in Architecture (NIASA).

This exam is for admission to first year of 5-year B. Arch degree course for all architectural institutions in the country including IITs, NITs,Jadavpur University and other Government Institutions.

The notification for the NATA-2011 exam is not announced till now. Information regarding NATA 2011 will be available from last week of February 2011. For more information please see the website

NATA 2011 tests will commence from 1st April 2011. NATA brochure, Pre-Registration form and List of Test centers will be available on NATA website from 3rd week of March 2011 onwards.

NATA Fees are Rs.800, and are to be paid at the time of Registration and before collection of the appointment voucher from the Test Center. The test fees are to be paid by Demand draft/ Postal order/ banker’s cheque drawn in favour of ‘Council of Architecture’, payable at New Delhi.

NATA 2011:

The Application Form can be downloaded in the documents section of the official website.
Candidates can collect the Application Form from the Test Centres. The completed forms along with the DD and required documents should be submitted at the Test Centers from 1st March 2011.

NATA Eligibility
10+2 or equivalent from a recognized Board/University with Mathematics as a subject of examination with the least 50% aggregate marks.

Test Fees
NATA Fees are Rs.800, and are to be paid at the time of Registration and before collection of the appointment voucher from the Test Center. The test fees are to be paid by Demand draft/ banker’s cheque drawn in favour of ‘Council of Architecture’, payable at New Delhi. Candidate has to carry filled registration form, support documents & D/D to the Test center for Registration & appointment.

Hello.......
The NATA Pre-Registration form is available for download at website http://www.nata.in .The same is also available at all the Test Centers.
Approach the Test Center located at college / school of Architecture at a location convenient to the candidate with the documents listed below and test fees-
+Fill up and submit the form
+Pay the fees through Demand Draft.
+Get the online registration form filled
+Get receipt cum appointment voucher with date and time from the Test Center.

Documents required for Registration-
+Std. X or equivalent exam marklist – attested copy
+One recent passport size colour photograph, to be pasted on the registration form.
+Any valid document of identification bearing photograph and signature of the candidate attested copy
+Test fees in the form of demand draft in favour of ‘Council of Architecture’ payable at New Delhi.
+Valid email address.

My daughter is studying II Year PUC (10-2) examination conducted by the Government of Karnataka during March, 2011. She wants to take NATA examination and continue to have further studies in Architecture.

What is the fee structure for taking NATA examination. Where can I get the application form? When is the last date for applying? When is the examination?
