Re: Which books to refer for Bank of Baroda PO exam?

for recruitment in bank,
important sections are
=>written test
=>personal interview

to crack written test,
you must be strong enough to crack quantitative aptitude...

for QA,books preferred are
R.S.AGARWAL's QUANTITATIVE APTITUDE
solved probationary examination question papers by G.K.PUBLICATION

tricks to crack exams
==>go through maths formulas daily atleast for four hours...
=> go through formulas in 10th,8th ,9th books of matric board..
=> especially go through many problems in number work,algebra,permutation and commutation..

thanks

Re: Which books to refer for Bank of Baroda PO exam?

In recent days we are seeing that there are notifications by various public sector and private sector banks to recruit Probationary officers.

In fact these are the entry level positions in banks for the candidates with their qualification of graduation.

For almost all the banks, the selection procedure will be
1)Written test
2)Persona Interview

The written test consists of questions from
1)Reasoning
2)Quantitative aptitude
3)socio,economic and banking awareness / General awareness
4)General English
5)Computer/Marketing knowledge

One need to qualify in each of the sections. There will be negative marking for the wrong answers.

Best books to prepare:
-For Reasoning and Quantitative aptitude you can prepare the books of R.S.Agarwaal and R.Gupta books

-For General awareness, you can prepare the upkars general knowledge by Khanna and Verma
You can also prepare the current affairs of YES bank publications
As a online resource you can visit www.sakshieducation.com

-For General English also R.S.Agarwaal is also available but you can prepare any book which is full of grammatical aspects. Focus more on tenses and connectives like if clauses. Practice comprehensions. Build up vocabulary.
