So the percentile moves very slowly and also doesnt move much. Cut of IIT is generally 98 percentile and above. So need less to say, you have no chance in IIT. Cut of top NIT is also bit high and you wont be able to get that too. You should try for lower NIT. You have slim chance in lower NITs. You may also try for following colleges Bengal Eng. and Science University, Shibpur, Howrah, India MANIT, Bhopal, India PSG College of Technology, Coimbatore, India Thapar Inst of Engineering & Technology, Patiala, India Harcourt Butler Technological Institute, Kanpur, India All the best |

Dear candidate, The cutoff for many IIT's is go around 690 marks for general category.So i don't think so you can get admission in any IIT. And after IIT many student rush for top NIT's for Mtech Like NIT trichy,NIT warangal and NIT Surathkal. And also top NIT's also close around 560 marks for general category.One of my friend did not get NIT in after scoring 510 in EE trade. So i think your chance to get good branch in nit for mtech is very low. So it's better to give gate exam once again and then try for IIT. thanking you |

Can I get admission in NIT after scoring 518 in GATE with 3955 in general? Any chances in NIT calicut or Trichy? my gate2012 score is 518 , with rank 3955 in general. my percentile is 97.76. can i get admission in any nits? wat abt nit calicut or trichy? m frm ECE branch. |
