Re: How to get admission direct 2nd year of B.E after passing diploma in IT with 73%? hi, you can join directly 2nd year B. E in the same stream (IT) in any engineering college. You are called as lateral entry students. Usually there will be reservations for diploma holders in every college. All you need to do is: 1) Give entrance exam (CET) in your state. 2) Go for counselling called for in some institution with all the marks cards, CET result and Caste certificate 3) Select good college availabe during the counselling 4) If you are not satisfied with the college you got through 1st counselling attend 2nd counselling and try to get some other good college. 5) Apply for admission in the corresponding college you got through counselling by going to that college. |

Re: How to get admission direct 2nd year of B.E after passing diploma in IT with 73%? Hello, Well direct admission in B.E. and that too in second year is impossible. Whatever you have done till now is absolutely fine. Now if your diploma course is a 10+2 equivalent then you can go for a distance education graduation. I mean you cannot go for B.E. unless you clear the respective joint entrance examinations. Unless you get a valid rank in such joint entrance examination, you will not be able to get admission in B.E. first year. For that also you have to have higher secondary degree. So to save all this you can directly go for B.Sc. in IGNOU. Here if you have a higher secondary degree, or its equivalent then you can get admission in B.Sc. program of IGNOU. Log onto www.ignou.ac.in or you can also call at 33-2281 0964. The course is 3 years long and of around Rs.3000 fee for each year. Think about it. |
