there is a need of some points to be illustrated in respect to your eligibility for bank PO and are as follow- > as you have mentioned that you'r a B.Com. second year student so you need to wait till you complete your graduation, as degree from a recognized university is the minimum educational eligibility required. > 10th, 12th marks has no importance in respect to eligibility. > in SBI, IBPS(which conduct exam for 20 nationalized banks) there is no specific % required in graduation to be eligible. But private and other bank's has mandate a minimum 50-60% in graduation. *whatsoever the case may be, you should not have any arrears. > Most Importantly- although your 10th, 12th and graduation % does not play any role in written exams but they do have an importance in Interviews. P.O. - Probationary Officer, the exam for which is generally conducted by SBI and IBPS(Institute of Banking Personal Selection) Scoring of percentage of marks in 10th standard, is not a criteria for bank P.O. exam. The eligible candidate must be an Indian national having completed Graduation Degree in any stream from a recognised university within the age of 21 to 30 years with upper age relaxation for reserved candidate with good knowledge over computer operation. Now you are in 2nd year b.com graduation so you are not eligible for Bank PO(Probationary Officer) exam. The candidate who are completed their graduation will be eligible for Bank PO exam. The details about Bank PO exam has been given below. Eligibility criteria for Bank PO:- The applicant must be complete bachelor's degree from any recognised university. No percentage is required for PO exam. Candidate should be an INDIAN origin. Age requirements:- Minimum age limit for PO exam is 21 years and the maximum age limit is 30 years. For OBC category candidates is 3 years, For SC/ST category candidates is 5 years. For PWD category candidates is 10 years. Selection process:- Written exam, Personal interview. Syllabus for written exam:- General english, General awareness with special reference to banking industry, General reasoning, Quantitative aptitude, Computer knowledge. Re: Am i eligible for PO in Bank after scoring 45% in 10th? If you are applying for Bank PO entrance exam conducted by the Institute of Banking Personnel Services, then please do not worry. You are eligible for the Bank PO exam if completed the graduation. Therefore stop worrying about the percentage so far and concentrate on completing the course. Once you have completed the graduation you will be eligible for the IBPS Bank PO entrance exam. The marks scored in 10th, 12th as well graduation are not considered for the Bank PO entrance exam. You simply have to complete graduation with pass marks. That would be sufficient enough to appear for the Bank PO entrance exam. While you are eligible for the IBPS Bank PO, you are not for the Bank PO entrance exam conducted by the State Bank of India. Therefore please only apply for the IBPS Bank PO. The exam is conducted in June of every year. You will have to complete the graduation to appear for it. Eligibility Criteria 1. Candidate has to be Indian citizenship holder. 2. Any graduation degree is accepted to appear for Bank PO. 3. There is no criteria for percentage. 4. Minimum age to appear for exam is 20 years. 5. Maximum age is 30 years. 6. Maximum age is relaxed for OBC by 3 years. 7. Both SC and ST are given 5 years of relaxation. 8. Person with Disability is also granted 10 years relaxation. |

The acronym for PO is Probationary Officer. Sorry to say that you are not eligible for bank PO examination at present time. Firstly, you complete your graduation, then you can appear for bank PO examinations. Bank PO examinations are conducted by ICICI, SBI, and IBPS. The selection procedure for ICICI and IBPS PO examinations is mentioned as below:- * Written examination. * Interview. The selection procedure for SBI PO examination is mentioned as below:- * Written examination. * GD(Group Discussion). * Interview. The eligibility criteria required for SBI, ICICI, and IBPS PO examinations are prescribed as below:- * Completion of graduation in any discipline from any recognized college or university for SBI and IBPS. * No percentage required in graduation for SBI and IBPS. * Completion of graduation in any discipline with 55% marks from any recognized college or university for ICICI. * Age limit:- 20-30 yrs for IBPS; 21-30 yrs for SBI; and 21-27 yrs for ICICI. * Age relaxation:- 3 yrs for OBC and 5 yrs for SC/ST contendors. * Nationality:- Indian. * Good knowledge of Computer and English. SBI conducts its own PO exams Eligibilty for the IBPS PO exams: Graduation Pass with minimum 60% marks Age should be between 20 and 30 years Eligibilty for the SBI BANK PO exams: Min educational qualifications is Graduation Pass Age should be between 21 and 30 years |

So just take admission in class 11th and study till Graduation then you will be eligible for Bank PO. So just keep your basics good and study well then you will have a bright future. You don't need to maintain any minimum percentage. 4. The age limit is 20 on the lower side and 30 on the higher side. 5. OBC candidates are given 3 years relaxation as per govt rules. 6. Similarly SC and ST are given 5 years relaxation. You don't Need to maintain any minimum percentage. Heance you are fully eligible to apply for the post of PO in banks. All The Best

General Eligibility Criteria for for Bank PO Post: You must have passed Graduation degree in any stream from recognized university. Final year candidates also appear in this exam on provisional basis. You must have secured minimum of 50% marks. Your age must be in between 20 to 30 years (3 year relaxation for OBC & 5 year for SC/ST/PH candidates). You should be An Indian Citizen. thank you.................................... |

For PO bank exam Graduation marks were important mim 50%. So 10th marks not taken into consideration. After completing graduation degree you will be eligibility for Bank PO/clerk exam. Now for banking exam IBPS is the common entrance exam for 20 major banks. thank you |
