MBA is a PG degree. If you are a PG degree holder then, why are you thinking of another PG degree. Anyway, eligibility specified for CAT is pass in graduation with a minimum of 50% marks. SC/ST candidates are given with 5% relaxation in marks. Otherwise, you can try for other entrance test like XAT or MAT. Obtaining high marks in such entrance test help you to get in to a reputed B-school.

In order to apply for the MBA admission you have to clear the Common Admission Test (CAT) or Graduate Management Admissions Test (GMAT) or Management Aptitude Test (MAT) or OPENMAT or the entrance exam of the concerned institution. CAT is conducted by The India Institutes of Management for granting admission in the management programs of all the six IIMs and other top management schools. Management Aptitude Test is conducted by All India Management Aptitude Testing Service, New Delhi. MAT is the National Entrance Test for admission to MBA and equivalent programmes of the various participating institutes of All India Management Aptitude Testing Service.
Graduate Management Admissions Test is undertaken by graduates who wish to pursue the MBA programs. GMAT is now used for giving admission to students in more than 1700 universities or institutes all across the world. Yes it is certainly possible for you to apply for the MBA entrance exam.
