NAPLEX Stands North American Pharmacist Licensure Examination

The test is one requirement for candidates to earn a pharmacy license from their state board of pharmacy .

The standards for the NAPLEX are established by a panel of practicing pharmacists & experts who hold membership in the National Association of Boards of Pharmacy .

Eligibility:
graduation from pharmacy school is required

Notification of test-eligibility approval will be sent to the NABP, which sends an authorization to test (ATT) document to the test taker. The authorization lists testing dates and other information.

Before registering for the NAPLEX, prospective test takers should verify their local board of pharmacy requires the examination for certification.
