i got marks 40% in hsc & than i was doing bsc in chemistry so can i go after my bcs in bhms?

You can pursue BHMS, if you have completed 12th class. HSC must be completed with Physics, Chemistry, and Biology as subjects. This course must be completed with a minimum of 50% marks. Entrance tests are conducted for admission. Rajasthan Ayurved University PAT/ PHT/ PUT/ BNYS Joint Entrance Exam, NIH BHMS Entrance Exam, etc are some of such entrance exams.

BHMS stands for "Bachelor of Homeopathic Medicine and Surgery". After BHMS, both Masters Level as well as doctorate level of studies is possible. Qualification criteria for higher studies option in homeopathic studies

Those candidates who have completed their bachelor’s degree are qualified to give the post graduate exam for admission into PG courses in homeopathy. The candidates need to be citizens of India and not more than 45 years of age. The bachelor’s degree should be approved by the central council of homeopathy. They should also have a medical council registration certificate. Also, final year BHMS candidates can apply.

Career opportunities after higher studies in homeopathic studies

Candidates will have better career growth after completing their higher studies. Better salary structure and a promising career are some of the highlights after completing one’s masters in homeopathic studies. There are excellent career prospects after doing post graduation in Homeopathic studies. Many universities and institutes recruit PG students as they are more knowledgeable and well versed with the subject. Many government institutes take Post Graduate degree holders. Some of the positions are:

Government homeopathic medical officers
Homeopathic lecturer, reader and professor
Homeopathic pharmacist
The salary for these positions ranges from Rs.15,000 -29,000/- per month.

Apart from this, one can also find employment in private clinics and institutes. The scale of pay in private hospitals is more than in government hospitals. PG doctors in homeopathy typically get between Rs. 15,000 -30,000/- per month.

Also, if one wishes to set up his/her own clinic, then there is no limit to the amount of money that can be earned.

One can also find employment abroad. There are many avenues for doing excellent research in developed countries like the UK. Also, there is a considerable shift in the salaries offered in these countries. Typically the salary difference is more than 5 times.
