Is there any job opportunity in India or abroad

I am B.Tech mechatronics engineeer myself(2011 passout). I worked in TCS for 2 years and resigned to work in my core field. As a mechatonics engineer I must say its a gateway to entirely different world where after you graduate you wont sit IDLE. You are employable escpecially in INDIA

IT & computer science sector(after graduation if u find computer programming interesting)
manufacturing sector(obviously...)
pharmaceutical sector(deal with machines which makes medicines)
automobile sector

at abroad

oil and gas
pharmaceuticals
industries which are purely automated.

Like any other engineering if the person after graduation wants to live a good life then he can without fear opt for Mechatronics engineering. Its one of the most flexible discipline which the candidate can enjoy. I myself, my college mates, my seniors are living a decent life and on behalf of them i can say we did'nt regret joining mechatronics.

hope this helps not only to questioner but anyone who reads this blog in future....
all the best

hello friend

as you asked about mechatronics

its the favourite subject of myself

it has a lot scope i'll tell you why it is my favourite subject

->as i'm electronics engineer i have a lot of interest on that subject because it has incredible path of electronics as you know well the integration of MECHATRONICS

it is the combination of mechanical electronics control engineering and also computer science engineering

->next there is a lot of scope in research engineering

->and you can step in the robotics industry

and also there are many reasons

any ways you have a chance bro don't waste take up

it will be amazing according to me

all the best

Dear,

What is Mechatronics?

Mechatronics is the future of engineering.
It combines the principles of mechanics
with electronics and computer systems in
applications across many industries.
Mechatronic engineers design and create
machinery that integrates with electronics
and computer control. From everyday
consumer products such as microwaves,
washing machines and DVD players to
travel and transport applications in cars,
boats and aircraft, Mechatronics is at play.

Why study Mechatronics?

The new degree offers an exciting world
of opportunities. You’ll not only possess the
knowledge and skills to work in Mechatronics,
but you’ll also be able to work in traditional
engineering fields such as mechanical,
electronic, electrical and computer systems
engineering, and project management.

Career Opportunities

In a world continually transformed by
technology, you’ll be in high demand in
organisations ranging from large, global
corporations to smaller, niche firms in
many diverse fields such as automotive,
aerospace, defence, product development,
manufacturing and processing plants,
software and equipment.

Thanks.

friend...

Mechatronics is mechanical, electrical and electronic systems combined with information technology.

the thing that sets mechatronics(MCT) apart is that an MCT engineer does not need to have an indepth knowledge on the design of mechanical, electronic or computers... he just has to know their proper implementation to achive the desired control... Therefore, he needs to have the 'sufficient' knowledge about them.. However, his design domain is the system as a whole, and not its individual components..
This is what the crux of MCT is about...

foreseeable future of MECHATRONIC ENGINEERING

Aerospace industry
Automotive industry
Chemical Processing
Computers
Communications
Education
Electronics
Healthcare
Manufacturing and process
Marine engineering
Mining
Research and development

Your interests and talents:which are require to have unlimited growth in this industries

You are interested in engineering - mathematics - physics
You are quick to grasp technical relationships
You like planning and organising
You enjoy working on the PC
You work accurately and carefully
You are sociable and enjoy helping people
You like working in a team

best luck

Mechatronics is one of the few booming industries today with great future prospects. Its not really hard. Its just conceptual. You need to be regular.IITs are the best college available for the subject.Mechatronics is the combination of Mechanical engineering, Electronic engineering, Computer engineering, Software engineering, Control engineering, and Systems Design engineering in order to design, and manufacture useful products.Mechatronics is a multidisciplinary field of engineering, that is to say it rejects splitting engineering into separate disciplines.
