If u are planning for a job after BCA then I suggest you that feed your resume in job huning sites like naukri, monster from where u can get interview calls. And do MCA side by side through correspondence like IGNOU ASP.net and PHP both have their own importance. Go for that language in which you have most qualified. Don't thought about IGNOU. BCA is BCA After ASP or PHP, must try for JAVA I hope your mind is now clear about your questions. |

Re: Jobs after BCA from University of Rajasthan After BCA (Bachelor of Computer Application), you can apply for companies like IBM, Infosys, HCL, Wipro, CTS....etc... These companies recruit a large no. of BCA graduates because there is a demand of software expert in these companies. But the salary that would be given is 12,000 to 15,000 for a fresher. You can also try for Bank jobs where the starting salary would be 14,000 in the post of PO. So it is advisable to do a higher course after BCA. Higher studies like.... MCA -- this one is the best, because BCA students already have the base for studying MCA. MBA-- if you are interested in the managerial field. M.Sc-- in computer or IT or computer application. After doing Masters, you will get a salary of 25,000 to 30,000 at the start... |

Also the chances of promotion are minimal except when you perform exceptionally well. So it is advisable to go for higher studies prefrably MCA. It will double your chance of getting a good job & the starting salary is also high. You can get get around Rs. 20000 to 30000 in the beginning depending upon your skill & knowledge. |

Re: Jobs after BCA from University of Rajasthan Getting admission for BCA course is too easy, but the job availability is too less for only BCA pass out. BCA degree is of no importance today. The best option after BCA is to get admission in MCA course. MCA course can be applied by other people also like B.Sc. Pass out. Job opportunity in call center for BCA pass out is higher, but in call center 10+2 pass out can also apply for the same post. There is no way any IT company will going to higher BCA pass out (with no other qualification) . So, if you are interested in IT or software field then you have to join the MCA course in reputed university. |

The best you can get after BCA would be 10-15,000 per month. Also on BCA level you won't be able to get promotions. Therefore, I would like to suggest you to go for higher studies so that you would be able to get a satisfactory job at least. Thanks |

So, please go for MCA because after MCA you will get lots of opportunities and good jobs in manny reputed companies like DELL, HP and your salary pacakge is good as compare to BCA students. After completing MCA, you will get starting salary around 20,000 per month. So, please do MCA from good colleges, you will definately get sucess in future........ Good luck. |

You can almost go for any line related to computers. There any many companies on the lookout for BCA graduates. You can go in for Graphic designing, assisstant software developer, data analysis, Web development such as webpage making for several companies. Also, you can try as a teacher or lecturer in a school or college. several companies even want those who can handle the hardware and manage networks. But however, i suggest even though BCA has options, it does not guarantee a job today. So, it will be good if you go in for a POST Graduate course Like MCA. That will give you a lot of experience and increase your prospects of getting a good job. Good Luck |

One can get into Jobs of Graphic Designing, Data Analysis, Web Developer having some knowledge of Dream Weiver etc..... And salary will range between 8,000-12,000 at starting level. So, betterment of career prospect enroll for MCA, if you have studied MAthematics at your +2 otherwise MBA (IT/System/Marketing) are also good options. But remember MCA and MBA are the courses which is very necessary to be persued by some Good Institutes. |

Re: Jobs after BCA from University of Rajasthan Will suggest you to complete your MCA also. You will be able to get job with your BCA, but this will become hurdle to grow your position. After all Master Degree is preferable to Bachelor degree. So you will always have seniors rather then you become a senior. Also the knowledge you have gained in BCA might be limited to compete in this field (IT). |
