Re: Age limit for CDS and OTA 2015 You have asked about CDS Examination in your query. Here below, I am briefly explaining about CDS Examination: CDS means Combined Defence Service CDS Exam is conducted twice in a year by UPSC every year. The CDS Examination is conducted primarily to make recruitnent in followings: # Naval Academy # Aiforce Academy # Indian Military Academy (IMA) # Officer Training Academy (OTA) Educational Qualification: # Any graduate degree for OTA and IMA # Any Engineering degree or B.Sc in Physics for Air Force Academy and Naval Academy Candidate must be physically fit. Candidate must not have any criminal record. |

Re: Age limit for CDS and OTA 2015 CDS stand for Combined Defence Service. CDS exam conducted by the UPSC(Union Public Service Commission) two times in a year. CDS exam is conducts for following wings:- Indian Military Academy :- Candidate should be complete Bachelor's degree in any stream from a recognised university. Age should be between 19 years to 24 years. Indian Naval Academy:- Candidate should be complete a Graduation degree with studied maths,phyaics,chemistry in b.tech or equivalent from a recignised University. Age should be between 19 years to 22 years. Indian Airforce:- Candidate should be complete a Graduation degree with PCM sujects in b.tech or equivalent from a recognised University. Age should be between 19 years to 23 years. Officer's Training Academy:- Candidate should be complete Bachelor's degree in any stream from a recognised university. Age should be between 19 years to 25 years. There is no age relaxation for CDS exam. Candidate should be an Indian Citizen. |

Re: Age limit for CDS and OTA 2015 Attachment 183860 CDS stands for Combined Defence Services. OTA stands for Officer Training Academy. TO get into OTA you need to Appear for CDS exam. CDS exam is Conducted by UPSC. CDS exam will help you in getting in to Army,Air Force, Navy and OTA. Age limit to apply for CDS exam is :- Male candidates born not earlier than 2nd jan 1991 and not later than 1st jan 1997 are only eligible. So as per your Date Of Birth your eligible to apply for CDS exam. |

Re: Age limit for CDS and OTA 2015 Combined Defence Service Examination [CDSE] is a written test consisting of three papers. It is a test which enables recruitment of officers in the three wings of the defence services, i.e. the Army, Navy and the Airforce. Educational Qualification: The education qualification for applying in CDS is as follows: Male candidates can apply for IMA, AFA, NA and OTA and female candidates can apply only for OTA. Air Force Academy (AFA): If you are willing to apply for Air force academy should have studied Physics and Mathematics at 10+2 level along with a degree from recognized university or bachelor degree in engineering /technology. Women candidates can not apply for Air force academy. Indian Military Academy (IMA): If you are willing to apply of Indian military academy through CDS 1 2014 examination should have a degree from recognized university. Naval Academy (NA): If you are applying for Indian naval academy should have engineering degree from any recognized university or institute. Officers Training Academy (OTA): All other men candidates as well as women candidates applying for Officers training academy should have a degree to qualify for minimum educational qualification required by UPSC to fill application form of CDS. Re: Age limit for CDS and OTA 2015 CDS stands for combined defense services where as OTA stands for officer training academy which is one of the wings of CDS . The examination is conducted by union public service commission twice every year . Age limit for OTA is 19 years to 25 years . To appear in this examination you must have your bachelor degree in any stream from a recognized university ( final year students can also appear in this examination ) .
