BCA stands for Bachelor In Computer Application , and t is a three year graduation degree course generally for those students who wants to learn computer languages and after that who wants to join software companies .

Eligibility for BCA course :

In order to get admission into BCA course you need to pass 10+2 with minimum 55% . There is no compulsory that you should be having a subject combination of PCM in the 12th class. Even Arts and commerce can also join this course.

Admission Procedure :

Some reputed colleges and universities take entrance exam for taking admission in BCA course . but generally one can get admission on the basis of there 12th class marks .

BCA stands for Bachelors in Computer Application . It is an Under Graduate program.
BCA is graduation course is of 3 years.

Admission process :

Candidate who want to get admission in some reputed college has to go through the entrance exam of that college. Most of the college has minimum percentage criteria in 12th class for the admission.
Some colleges also take interviews of the candidates.

Age requirement is from 17 to to 23 years for most of the colleges.

Admission form for BCA Course is available in the months of May and June. Admission form are available on the college website and also candidates can take by hand from college itself.

Documents required for admission to BCA Course :

Attested copy of 10th and 12th standard mark sheet.
Attested copy of Domicile Certificate
Attested copy Extra Curriculum Certificates
Minimum 2 recent photographs
School Leaving Certificate
Character Certificated by last school

Candidate have to submit college fees along with the Fees before the given date. Failing to do so may lead to cancellation of admission.

BCA means "bachalore of computer applications"This course mainly focuses on the applications of computer in Practical life and in the companies.
There are so many jobs available in India whose eligibility criteria is BCA from any authorised university of india.

It will be beneficial for you to chosse BCA(bachalore of computer applications) before MBA(Master in bussiness administrations) or MCA course.
Mainly BCA is computer related course and includes some subjects like,economics,sociology which is available
in the MBA course also.
So it will be good in future for you to go for BCA if you have planned to do MBA after Graduation degree course.

Duration of Course:--
BCA is a 3 years full time course.

Eligibility for BCA course:--
You must have completed your 12Th from a recognized Education Board.
You must have studied Maths as a subject in your 12Th.
If you had completed your 12Th with Commerce,then you must have studied Maths as an optional subject.
You must have completed your 12Th with minimum 40% marks.

Only then after you will be allowed to get admissions in BCA colleges.

B.C.A stands for Bachelor of Computer Application. It is three years professional course in computer applications.

The eligibility criteria for most of the institutes in India for B.C.A:

1. You must have completed your Higher Secondary examination that is 10+2 from a recognized board or its equivalent.

2. Minimum percentage of marks in 10+2 should be at least 50 %. Higher is the % of marks in 10+2 better is the chance of getting good college.

3.Science stream candidates along with mathematics as one of the subjects in 10+2 is more preferred by top institutes known for B.C.A course.

These three are the general eligibility criteria. However it may differ from university to university. Certificate in Computing has become more important for candidates for taking admission into this course.

Entrance exams are conducted by some of the top institutes for taking admission. Some of the top institutes for B.C.A are as follows:

1. Christ University

2. Madras Christian College

3. Institute of Management Studies

4. St. Xavier's college.

One who have completed their 10+2 with mathematics subject are eligible to get admission into BCA (Bachelor of Computer Application) course.

Candidates should have scored at least 50% marks however, different universities have their own different criterias.

If you want to get admission in a good BCA college then you must have secured at least 60% in your intermediates.

Top reputed colleges may conduct their own entrance examinations and percentages criteria for getting admission into BCA course.

Don't worry, once you complete your intermediates then you can surely apply for BCA. So, go and ask for the application form to the university where you want to take admission.
