NET----National Eligibility Test.

Eligibility Criteria-----
  • The candidates are required to have score 55 per cent marks in Masters Degree.
  • The candidates who are in their final year of Masters programme or those whose examinations have been delayed can also apply.
  • The candidates who hold Phd degree and have completed their Masters degree before September 19, 1991 shall be provided with relaxation of marks up to 5 per cent.


Important dates----

Last date for applying online and generation of filled bank challan fee--- May 5
Last date of submission of fee through online ------ May 7
Last date of application form, attendance slip and admit card------- May 10
Last date for receiving the printout of online application form------ May 15
Examination date----- June 29

NET stand for National Eligibility Test.

The National Eligibility Test (NET) to be conducted by University Grants Commission.

Candidate should be completed Master’s Degree at least 55% marks OR equivalent examination from a recognized University.

For JRF maximum age limit is 28 year.

NET stands for the National Eligibility Test.

This entrance exam is conducted by the University Grants Commission twice every year. It is conducted for :

1. Lectureship

2. Junior Research Fellowship

In order to apply for the NET, candidates need to have master's degree in any discipline from a recognized university.

Minimum % of marks required in master's degree is 55 from a recognized university.

The upper age limit is 28 years for the JRF and there is no upper age limit for Lectureship.

National Eligibility Test (NET) is conducted every year for selection of candidates for :
JRF (Junior Research Fellowship).
Lectureship.

The examiation is conducted by UGC twice in a year.There is also the eligibility criteria for the candidates:
Candidates must have 55% in their Post Graduation for general category and relaxation of 5% for other category candidates.
Candidates applying for JRF must have their age below 28 years.There is no limitations on age for lectureship.

NET stand for National Eligibility Test.

NET exam conducted by CBSC from december 2014. This exam held every year two time in month of june and december for JRF and Assistant Professor.

Notification for both released in month of April and October.

Candidate should have post graduate degree with 55% marks from recognised university for appearing in this exam.

Their is no upper age limit for Assistant Professor but For JRF maximum age limit is 28 year.

Reserve category candidate get relaxation in qualification and upper age as per government rules.

The qualification and age criteria for this entrance test:

In order to appear for this test, you need to have master's degree in any discipline from a university that is recognized by UGC.

For the general and OBC candidates, the percentage criteria is 55 % in master's degree. For SC/ST candidates 5% relaxation is given.

For JRF, the upper age limit for the candidates should not exceed 28 years. However there is no upper age limit in case of Lectureship.

Candidates must have secured at least 55% marks in their PG or masters (In case of SC/ST category it is minimum 50% marks).

If you want to apply for the JRF post then your age should not exist 28 years. Age relaxation are applicable for OBC/SC/ST category candidates up to 5 years on upper age.

There is no any upper age limit for lectureship post.
