It opens the door in order to get recruited as top officials in general administration. # Only graduate degree holders in any discipline are eligible. Simultaneously, candidates who are either appearing or awaiting their result are also eligible to apply. # There is no requirement of any marks/percentage at degree level from the candidate. Only the thing required that the candidate must have successfully qualified the degree. # The minimum age fixed for applying for the Civil Service Examination for all categories is 21 years. # There is different prescribed maximum age for different categories which is mentioned below: * 30 years for General category * 33 years for OBC category * 35 years for Scheduled Caste category * 35 years for Scheduled Tribe category * 40 years for Physically Handicapped category # There is also fixation of specific number of attempts for all categories which are mentioned below: * Candidate of General category can apply for only four times. * Candidate of OBC category can apply for only seven times. * Candidate of SC or ST can apply only for as many times as they wishes. # The outline or pattern of examination process: * Preliminary Examination (Civil Service Aptitude Test) * Mains Examination * Personal Interview |

Union Public Service Commission conducts the Exam for PC's like Indian Administrative Services(IAS),Indian Foreign Services(IFS),Indian Revenue Services.For these Services there is a single exam that you have to pass,but there is many stages of this single Exam like Preliminary,Main and then Interview.UPSC Conducts this Exam per year.the Minimum Education Qualification for this Exam is Graduation in any Stream. The Age Limit for PCS Exam is:-The candidate whose is applying for the appearing in this exam.He/she should be 21-32 Year Old.There is relaxation in age for Category Candidates.There is 3year Relaxation for OBC Candidates and 5 Years relaxation for ST/SC Candidates. |

Let us provide you the complete details- ## Minimum age- 21 years as on 1st Jan of the year in which the exam is conducted ## Maximum age- 27 or 30 for some of the exams. There are also age relaxations for the OBC, SC, ST and PWD category. So, if you are one of these, the following information would be beneficial for you- ## Relaxations >> 3 years relaxation for OBC >> 5 years for SC/ST >> 10 years for PWD |

Re: What is the age limit for PC exam? PCS stand for Punjab CIvil Services. This exam is conducted by Punjab Govt. in every year. The minium qualification to apply this exam is Graduation degree from a recognized University. Eligibility criteria:- For apply PCS exam candidate must have to pass Graduation Degree in any stream from a recognized University. The age limit for PCS exam is :- The minimum age limit is 21 years and the maximum age limit is 32 years for General category. Age relaxation for OBC category candidates 3 years and SC/ST category candidates 5 years age relaxation. The upper age limit for a Punjab Government/Other State Government/ Central Government employee is 47 years. |

Age Limits for the PCS Exam--- Maximum Age Limit is 35 Years The minimum age for everyone is 21 years. The upper age limit for General category is 32 years. OBC category upper age limit is 35 And for SC/ST it is 37 years. Qualification--- A degree from a Central, State or Deemed university. A degree received through Correspondence Education or Distance. A degree from an Open University. A qualification recognized by the Government of India. |
