1. TGC(TECHNICAL GRADUATE COURSE) 2. SSC(SHORT SERVICE COMMISSION) 2.CDS(COMBINED DEFENCE SERVICES) As you have crossed the maximum age limit of CDS examination so you are not eligible for this entry. For the TGC and SSC entry you are eligible to apply as the maximum age limit for these entries is 27 years. Who can apply for TGC and SSC ? Any candidate having degree of engineering or equivalent qualification are eligible to apply for these entries. Final year student are not eligible for these entries. For them there is another entry scheme i.e University entry Scheme(UES). How To Apply ? Every year for both the entries notification came on the official web site of Indian Army i.e http://joinindianarmy.nic.in/ From this web site you can apply online for the TGC and SSC entries. To apply online you have to know you every semester marks and date completion of engineering. So keep all this note down before applying online. Exam Pattern There is not any entrance exams for the above entry schemes. You will be directly called for the SSB interview at any of the SSB selection centers i.e Allahabad, Bhopal and Bangalore. The SSB examination is a 5 days testing procedure in which Physiological test, Interview and Group Tasks to be performed. On qualifying the SSB you have been sent for the medical examination which is again took 5-7 days. Then on the basis of merit you will be called for the training at IMA or OTA Chennai. |

How to join Indian Army if I am a B.Tech in Aeronautical Stream Sir, I am a B.TECH passed candidate in Aeronautical Stream in the year 2009 and would like to have the honor to join INDIAN ARMY. My query is that can I join INDIAN ARMY in any senior post? My D.O.B is 01/06/1986. Please guide me with your suggestion at the earliest so that my dream of serving my own country comes true for me.
