I am an academician for 10 years. My age is 32.. Am I eligible ? if so when is the last date to apply and when is the exam ? Kindly advice.

Yes, you are eligible to apply DEO exam.

DEO stand for Data Entry Operator.

Data Entry Operator (DEO) examination conducted by the SSC.

The exam is also known as SSC Combined Higher Secondary Level Examination or SSC CHSL.

Educational Qualifications:-

Those candidate who have qualified in Higher Secondary Examination (10+2) or possess any equivalent qualification from a recognized board are eligible to apply for this exam.

Age Limit:-

Candidates age should be between 18 years and 27 years.

Age Relaxations:-

SC/ST – 5 years

OBC – 3 years

PH – 10 years, PH (OBC) – 13 years, PH (SC/ST) – 15 years

EXS (UR) - 03 years, EXS (OBC)-06 years, EXS (SC/ST)-08 years

* No percentage required. Only passing marks required.

Yes you are eligible for the DEO ( Data Entry Operator ) eamination conducted by the SSC every year as SSC CHSLE.

The eligibility criteria for the examination is candidates who have passed 10+2 board examination from a recogonised board an have also attained the age of 18 years before the last date of application can apply.

The application form for the 2015 examination will be available in the month of June an last ate for application is July 6 2015. The examination will be conducted in the month of August.

The examination is conducted in two stages as a Written and typing test. Only candidates who qualifies in the written are eligible for the other.

The written paper contains question of Mathematical reasoning , General knowledge , English elementary mathematics.
