dear friend,

as you are a post graduate student so you are eligible for any bank jobs......
you can appear for bank clarical, bank po, management tranniee.......

there are 19 public sector banks working in India and these days they all conduct common exam for banking through ibps.......

for clarical a student should have pass 10th with 60% or 12th with 50% or graduate and age limit is 18-28....

for po a student should have graduate in any descipline from any recognised university with minimum 60% marks and age limit is 21-30 yrs..........

to prepare for the exam you will have to read maths, reasoning, english, computer and general awareness......... for math and reasoning you can prefer r.s.agarwal, for english wren and martin and common error by a.k.singh, for computer any book for banking services and general awareness of within 6 months.......

for more details you can visit www.ibps.in

A mca student can apply any of the bank exams but it is neccesary that it should fulfill the eligibility criteria of different bank jobs.

In order to appear for bank clerical exam, the candidates are required to meet certain eligibility criteria.

Eligibility criteria:-

the candidate should be the citzen of india.

, the minimum age limit is fixed as 18 years while the maximum age limit is 28 years.

Relaxation in upper age limit is there for candidates belonging to sc/st, obc, pwd

category and ex- defence servicemen.

So, after completing mca you are eligible to apply for these banks examination.

- state bank of india

- oriental bank of commerce

- central bank of india

- united bank of india.etc..

2. Eligibility criteria for bank p.o. Exam:-

eligibility criteria:-

educational qualifications:

General candidates and others - 60% or more marks in class xii and 55% or more marks in graduation or post graduation.

Age - not below 21 years and not above 30 years

selection procedure in sbi is carried out in two phase :-:

1.preliminary exam

2. Main test

this will be an objective and descriptive type examination.

Each and every bank conducts exams for selecting employees to their branches . For better preparation you can follow bank exam preparation tips by which you can face the exam without fear.

-don’t get frightened upas preparation for the bank exam is not so difficult as it sounds.
Make a habit to practice the previous question papers.mainly you have to consider the type of choices, length, number of questions and the time provided ,these little things will help you to crack the exam..

-it requires a long term preparations ,so you must not lose your confidence..

-some students study well but still may be much afraid of exams and due to this reason they get distracted and won't be able to score marks.so leave all your fears and free your mind before starting the study.

-try to prepare atime table chart which would include all the subjects which may not be of equal priority.divide your time and give more stress to the subjects you are more weak. While preparation, there should be sufficient intervals between each subject.

-try to make notes of each subject which should include the imprtant terms and formulae .

-you have to sleep well.sleep deprivation study shows that optimum hrs for sleep is 6hrs. Especially on the night before exam you have to sleep well, atleast 6 hours and not more than 8 hrs.

-speed and accuracy is the main thing needed which is one of the main bank exam preparation tips. In the exam you have to try to complete maximum questions as the time duration will be less for bank exams. There are chances for negative marks for wrong answers so it is a must to avoid answering anything without reading the question in multiple choice questions.
You can refer to the following books:-

r.s agarwal book for quantitataive apptitude and resoning.

Guide providing previous years question papers from kiran publication.

Upkar(previous year question paper cerical).

Hope this helps you..
