Procedure to Become an Chartered Accountant Pass CPT examination Register/Enroll for Integrated Professional Competence Course (IPCC) Complete 9 months of Study Course. Complete 100 hours of Information Technology Training (ITT). Complete Orientation Course (35 hours spread over one week). Pass Group I or both Groups of Integrated Professional Competence Examination (IPCE). Register as Articled Assistant for a period of 3 years. Pass Group II of IPCC if not already passed. Appear in Final Examination during last 6 months of 3 years of articled training. Pass both the Groups of Final examination. Get Final Examination Certificate. Complete remaining period of articled training, if applicable Complete Course on General Management and Communication Skill Enroll as a member of ICAI and designate as "Chartered Accountant" |

Re: How do I become a chartered accountant? Hai friend The minimum qualification required to do Chattered Accountancy is completion of 12th class in Non Medical course. To join in CA course you must write the CPT entrance exam,if you have qualified in the CPT,then only you are eligible for CA course. The CPT exam will be conducted two times in the month of June and December every year. **The CA course is divided into three stages: -->CPT -->IPCC -->Final CA **CPT : The full form of CPT is Common Proficiency Test.It is the initial stage in the CA course and after qualifying in this exam only you will be eligible to do IPCC course. **IPCC: After CPT,the second stage is IPCC in CA course.Along with IPCC course,you will also have articleship training.After completing IPCC course,you need to give IPCC exam.If you have qualified in the IPCC exam,you will be able to do final CA course. **Final CA: This is the last stage in the CA course. How do I become a chartered accountant? One of my friend have done MCA(Masters in Computer Application). But her dream is to be a Chartered Accountant. Is there any possiblity for her to go for it now? |
