Re: Is biology enough to prepare for ICAR? The eligibility criteria for ICAR are as under:- - The candidate must have passed 10+2 or any other equivalent examination with a minimum of 50%(40% for SC/ST/PWD) marks in aggregate. -The candidate must have passed 10+2 with any one of the following subjects : Biology Mathematics Agriculture Home Science. - The candidate who are in the final year of their degree are also eligible to apply on the condition that they will produce 10+2 exam certificate at the time of counseling. - The candidate must have passed English as a core subject in 10+2 examination for getting admission in the Universities located in non-Hindi speaking areas . -The candidate with a compartment/ supplementary in any of the subjects in 12 th class examination are not eligible for the ICAR . |

ICAR stands for Indian Council of Agricultural Research and it provides the education related to the agriculture and its byproducts .There are many courses related to this agricultural field with a good scope in the agriculture dominated nations like India . No , only biology is not sufficient for the preparation of ICAR examinations as the examinations will consist of the questions related to the Physics and Chemistry also .So you will have to be serious about these also . Also the students having the Mathematics in there senior secondary studies can also apply for the same .For them the questions will be related with Physics , Chemistry and Mathematics .Also these students will be offered the courses related agricultural machines .
