If yes then you can choose BCA. otherwise you have to choose BBA. but since you are from arts background and if you are weak in maths, then I will suggest you to take BBA. after BBA, prepare yourself for CAT to do MBA. look, BBA ---> MBA BCA ---> MCA both are good....but for you I think its BBA. BCA deals with computer programming and applications.So if you have interest in computers,softwares you should opt for BCA. But make sure you must have mathematics as a subject at 12th std for taking admission in BCA as its one of the eligibility criteria of some of the top universities. BBA deals with business studies.If you are interested in business line and its management then you should opt for BBA.further you can study MBA i.e. management course in any of the b-School. So if you are sure that you are interested in business studies, try hard to get into top 25 b-schools. Scope of BCA Earlier, Bachelor of Computer Application is one of the demanding courses in India. There are many students who have made a dream of becoming a BCA graduate. But nowadays, the scope for BCA is slowly coming down. Today the bachelors’ courses in India are not given much importance. This is because many students are going for Masters degree courses and they are not stopping their studies till bachelors degree. BCA is a Bachelor of Computer Applications. IT is booking in India. There are many national IT companies like Infosys, Wipro, Reliance, TCS, etc. which are looking for the qualified BCA students. Apart from this, there are many international companies like Vodafone, AT&T, etc. who are also stepping forward to take these BCA students. These companies are giving much importance to the Engineers with IT as their specialisation. This makes it little bit tough for a BCA to get a good job in a good company. There are many other non-IT companies who are in requirement of an IT person to take care of their software programs. A BCA is also having a scope in those companies. |

After BCA you can go for MCA/MBA/MSC all doors are open for you it means after BCA you have more chances of master degree. BBA is business degree if you are interested in business then you can decide about this degree after BBA you can do MBA/MCA. Both the courses are professional (3 years)it depend on you that in which side you have interested then you can decide yourself. There is a lot of scope after both the degree.MCA is 3years and MBA is 2years degree |

Hiii It depends on your interest in the field for BCA you should have interest in your mathematics and computer applications so BCA is somewhat a technical stuff.. Coming to the other option BBA is mostly taken by many of the youth.. It is the increasing craze of towards MBA... you better opt for BBA and complete your MBA to have a great and a bright future |

Both these BBA and BCA are in contrast to each other. BCA course deals with computer related subjects so technical. For this you should have grip in Mathematics and Computers. Where as BBA does not require the knowledge of computers and Mathematics. It is management oriented. My suggestion is to join BBA and then join MBA to have a very good career. MBA people are having plenty of opportunities in various fields. Choose BBA with your interest only. Thanks |
