Re: What helps in during placements between Knowledge and Long Term Academic Performance?

for that i have to say both the things help but at different levels. instant knowledge is learning quickly or by observing your surroundings and keeping the knowledge about things around you. Quickly assessable knowledge of any kind is possible. radical versions of which challenge the possibility of knowledge of matters of fact, knowledge of an external world, and knowledge of the existence and natures of other minds.

At the same time the academic performance is not secondary because you are always accessed on the bases of it, as a good performer . Along with that you need to have good soft skills to impress the opposite person . Only through talking it is possible and there your soft skills helps .

So, finally its like , you need academic performance to impress them first and think that you are knowledgeable and hard working and then the instant knowledge , which would let them know how good you are to judge situations around you and act accordingly . I would say instant knowledge is very important to impress but academic performance will make you go pass the initial rounds easily .

Re: What helps in during placements between Knowledge and Long Term Academic Performance?

Hello friend,
Long term academic performance and knowledge are interrelated to a certain extent. If you have been doing well throughout your academic lifetime, its make a very good impression to the employer. having good academic records means the candidate has higher level of dedication. This is very important quality employers look for. Candidate who is dedicated in whatever he/she does, will be able to perform. After this, the next thing an employer looks for is knowledge of the candidate in a particular area which has nothing to do with the syllabus of the courses studied earlier and that is Knowledge about the practical world and professionalism.
So, the combination of both professional approach and good academic records, is what the employers look for in the present scenario. Therefore, to be successful, you should have both the qualities.

one with out the other is meaningless.....
To respond you should have academic knowledge to prove yourself that you are technically sound and to reach higher heights in you job...
It depends on the college you are in...!!!
There are many incidents were many students have bagged jobs without knowledge of subject...But it happens once a blue moon.....

hi..
if you have long term knowledge it will help you at the time of the interview and also in the field when you join the job,
and also please remember that there is nothing called long term knowledge and short term knowledge ,as once you have learnt some thing there is no way that you can forget it that easily ,
and as student now your concentration should be more on learning because this is the time you have got full freedom and flexibility on learning and once if you cross this age you will never have this much up of time to give for education ,the more you study the chances of getting good job gets increases automatically

What helps in during placements between Knowledge and Long Term Academic Performance?

At a placement cell what helps ultimately? is it the instant knowledge or the long term academic performance?
