Re: What is the starting salary for automobile engineers? The starting salary of an automobile engineer depends upon lots of factor: 1. The institute from which you have pursued your degree. 2. Your performance in the whole course. 3. Organization in which you are going to work. 4. Location whether it is metropolitan city or other locations in India. Initially you will be recruited as a trainee in any automobile company and after completion of training you will be given a department. If we talk about salary, the initial annual package is 3.5 lacs to 4 lacs per year which means Rs 23,000 to Rs 27,000 excluding DA, HRA, PF, Gratuity and Medical insurance. However this is a general payscale for automobile engineer, you may get even more tha it depending upon the above factors mentioned. |
