Re: Can I get admission to study B.Tech(ECE) if secured 78% in 12th and scored 58 marks in JEE Main? Yes, you are eligible to get the admission in the B.tech (ECE ). The eligibility to get the admission in the engineering college is :- * Candidate must have passed 10+2 from a recognised board. * Candidate must have PCM as main subject in the 10+2. Other than the above two you have to clear the entrance test which is conducted by the most of institute for the admission. Since you scored 78% in 10+2 which is an average but the score in the JEE Mains is 58 i.e if you are other than the SC/ST category then you have not qualified in the Mains. So you are not eligible to get the admission in the NIT or IIT as that get the admission it is necessary to clear the JEE examination. So you can go with the preparation if you want to get the government colleges. But most of the private engineering colleges conduct admission on the basis of board result/aggregate. So you can get the admission. But be confirm regarding the AICTE registered college. To get the admission contact the institute with the documents. |
