Re: Which are the best branches for electrical students in M.Tech Information Regarding M.Tech course. Good to see your interest in the technology field. M.Tech is the Master of Technology which can be done after completing the B.Tech course. After completing the B.Tech course in the electrical branch you need to appear in the GATE entrance examination through which you can get a chance to take admission in the IITs/NITs college if your score will be good. In today age the competition is really tough so prepare well to get success in the examination. As per your question for the electrical engineering student Power electronics or power system is the good branch for you. Wish you all the best for your ahead career.

But you are interested to complete Higher studies you have to observe the following courses. **Power Electronics and drives **Power Systems **electrical machnies **Control and instrumentation **applied electronics **embedded systems **VLSI design **nanotechnology **Nano Medical sciences **Remote sensing and Geo-informatics systems. and etc.... You have to get admission through your Gate rank. think and choose right options in the above courses. all the best for your feature effects. ************************************************** ************* |

M.Tech specializations in Civil Engineering 1.Engineering structures 2.Construction technology and management 3.Geotechnical engineering 4.Transport engineering 5.Environmental engineering etc. |

Here is the list of specialization available in Electrical stream.
