I am sorry to say that you are not eligible for this exam with 3 years diploma engineering. You need to complete the Graduation from recognized University. IAS stands for Indian Administrative Service. This exam conducted by Union Public Service Commission once in a year. IAS exam is Civil Service Examination. Eligibility Criteria: Nationality: You should be citizen of India. Education Qualification: Candidate should complete the Graduation from any recognized University. No percentage required for this exam. Final year pursuing candidates are eligible for this exam. Age Limit: Your age limit should be between 21 to 30 years. Upper age relaxation is applicable for other categories. 3 years relaxation for OBC candidates. 5 years relaxation for SC\ST candidates. 10 years relaxation for PWD candidates. No of Attempts: 4 attempts for General candidates. 7 attempts for OBC candidates. No limit of attempts for SC\ST candidates. Selection Process: Preliminary Exam Main Exam Interview All the best........... |

There is an age limit relaxation for SC/ST category candidates. You didn't mention your date of birth,I can't definitely say that your are eligible so,but i think you are not eligible for the exam because based on your given information.
