HELLO friend

There are two ways of applying for IAS exam.You can either apply online or offline.

For applying online you visit the official website of UPSC to fill the application form.You need to also send the required amount of asked by them.The websites are:

ELIGIBILITY:

age: 21-30 for general
21-33 for obc's
21-35 for SC/ST
You need to be a graduate from any stream from any recognized university.

For offline you can get the form from HEAD POST OFFICE of your city.

The examination is conducted in 3 stages:

1. Preliminary exam – The format is going to change from 2011 onwards.
2. Main Exam – Only those who clear the 1st stage can take this exam. The pattern for this exam remains the same. There are 9 papers to be attempted in this section spread of a few days.
3. Interview - Those who clear the mains examination have to appear before an Interview Board at New Delhi.
ELIGIBILITY
The candidate must hold a degree from any of the government recognised and/or deemed universities or must possess an equivalent qualification. He must have completed 21 years of age in the year he is appearing for the exam. The maximum age limit is 30 for a general candidate, 33 for OBCs and 35 for SCs/STs. Ex-servicemen will get 5 more years exemption from the prescribed age limit. Similarly the number of allowed attempts is 4 for general category, 7 for OBCs and unlimited for SC/STs. Appearing for the preliminary exam or even one paper is counted as an attempt

you can apply by filling in the application form which can be bought from the head post offices of the respective cities
the age limit for the IAS exam is 21 to 30 years for the general students .....

After Graduation, You are eligible to apply for IAS examination, But to apply for this exam, your age should between 21 to 30 years.
You can apply for this exam either online or offline.
So, if you are fulfill the eligibility criteria, then please visit the given website and fill application form directly from there, when the registration was start, because for this year the dates was already over -

definitely, you can appear in IAS exam .

but before appearing in IAS exam, you have to know some basic criteria of IAS exam,

as minimum qualification graduation is require to attain in the IAS exam.

and minimum 60% marks in graduation is require to attain in the IAS exam.

age limit for IAS exam is 21-29 years.

To become a IAS officer there is no exam called as IAS entrance exam. You

must crack UPSC exam in top grade to become an IAS officer.

You can apply for UPSC exam in two ways. One is in online through the following

website.

To apply through offline you can get the application forms from the head post

office of your city.

But you must be eligible with a graduation and a age limit of 21 to 30 yrs.

IAS examination is conducted by UPSC every Year.

Eligibility criteria:-

a) Educational Qualification:

Must have graduation from recognized university.

b) Age limit:-

Minimum 21 years and maximum 30 years.

Relaxation for category holders:

1. For SC/ST 5 years.

2.For OBC 3 years.

c) Total Number of Attempts:

1. For General category 4 attempts.

2) For OBC 7 attempts.

3) For SC/ST unlimited till age limit.

You can apply either offline or online. Here i have attached notification of IAS read it carefully.


This year dates for filling up form for IAS examination is over. So try Next year.

to apply for IAS exam you have to fill out the form of IAS and then only you can go for exam....

Hello friend,
To apply for IAS exam you must fulfill the eligibility criteria that is graduation in any discipline and from recognized university. You have to collect application form from any post office or you can download the application form from the official website of the IAS exam. IAS conducted by upsc so you can get all the important information from the given link:

Generally the paper consists of Mathematics, GK and English. To crack the exam you have good problem solving skill and general Abilities.

He/She should be 21years to 30 yrs of age at the time of appearing in the UPSC held Civil Services Examination.

UPSC conduct CIVILSERVICE exam for top service like IAS,IPS,IFS and for other government jobs.Even this onwards the pattern of exam also changed as it doesnot have any special subject and the paper will be same for all the candidates.

CSAT 2011 exams will be conducted on 12th June. and last date of applying for the same is 21st March...Which is over....

Eligibility fr IAS:

You can have two option, offline and online. A graduate under any discipline form the recognized universities are eligible to take the ICS exam. You can buy the form from the designated post office with a set amount and can fill it and sent to the Exam Board. You can visit the official website of UPSC for the online application. If you are a general category male you have to pay a certain amount for application. For women and any other person from the reservation category the application is free of cost.
