1. MICRO ECONOMICS.

2. MACRO ECONOMICS.

MACRO MEANS WHOLE PARTICULAR COMMODITY.
MICRO MEANS IN WHOLE PARTICULAR COMMODITY IN THE PARTICULAR AREA.
SUPPOSE THE AUTOMOBILE INDUSTRY IS EXAMPLE OF THE MACRO ECONOMICS.
AND IN THIS INDUSTRY IN PARTICULAR COMPANIES LIKE BAJAJ IS EXAMPLE OF MICRO ECONOMICS.
MICRO ECONOMIC IS BASED INFORMATION OF THE MACRO ECONOMICS.
IN SHORT MICRO MEANS SMALL

MACRO MEANS LARGE.

Features of Microeconomics
  • It is individualistic economics.
  • It is concerned with the behaviour of individual economic entities such as households,firms,markets etc.
  • It presupposes the existence of full employment in the total economy.
  • It analyses economic phenomena under the ceteris paribus assumption and hence is a method of partial equilibrium analysis.
  • It is applicable under market economy where price plays a central role.
  • It is also called 'price theory' or 'value theory'.
  • Its objectives is to analyze the process by which scarce resources are allocated among alternative uses.
  • Its central elements is the nature of competition in individual markets.
  • Its principle variables are relative prices,individual demand and supply,output of individual firms and so on.
