Re: Percentage required to join diploma in Mechanical?

As we all know that diploma is a 3 year course and you need atleast 40% of marks in 10th to write diploma.
cut off marks varies from one different college. If you like to get admitted in government college then you need atleast 80% marks.

I have mentioned below some of good colleges for mechanical engineering:-
*Arya Bhatt Polytechnic, Delhi
*E.S.C. Govt. Polytechnic
Nandyal, Kurnool
*Govt. Polytechnic
Panaji
*North Eastern Regional Institute of Science & Technology A.P

Re: Percentage required to join diploma in Mechanical?

Diploma is a 3 years duration course of engineering.

The eligibility criteria of diploma says that minimum 40% is required in 10th (SSC) examination to appear for diploma.

The cutoff for diploma in mechanical engineering is vary by college to college.
If you want to take admission in government polytechnic or in top diploma college then you must have percentage more than 80%.

Whereas the percentage required to do diploma in mechanical engineering from private colleges is medium or average.

VJTI is the top engineering college in maharashtra.

To get admitted in this college is not easy.

Every engineering student wants to complete his/her engineering from VJTI.

So the cut off for this college is too much high.

If you have above 90% then you have some chances to get admitted in VJTI.

According to eligibility criteria of diploma the minimum percentage require is 40%.

But nowadays students with 40% not get admission for diploma easily.
