Re: How to join Army after passing 12th as a Lieutenant? I passed my 12 this year. I got 92 percent in 12 with commerce stream without maths.so can i apply for officer rank such as Lieutenant??? |

Re: How to join Army after passing 12th as a Lieutenant? UPSC conducts "N.D.A. & N.A. Examination" for recruitment in all the three wings of defense. For your qualification this is the only exam through which your career directly lands on the post of lieutenant (after completion of training). The examination comprises of two papers. 1. Mathematics (300 marks) 2. General Ability Test (600 marks) The Part-A of General Ability Test is English (200 marks) and Part-B of General Ability Test is General Knowledge. Refer the attached file for detailed syllabus. The written test qualified students are called for SSB interview and after final selection first training (Pre Training) starts in National Defence Academy. During Pre-training cadets undergo a graduation course in science/arts/commerce along with training. After Pretraining, commissioning training is conducted in Indian Military Academy. At the time of final joining (after completion of all training) you will be appointed as lieutenant. |
