For Air Force after 12th you must have to write NDA exam.
NDA exam is conducted for Air Force, Navy and Army.

for Air Force and navy you need 12th with Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics or equivalent and for Army you need 12th in any discipline from recognized board or College . you can also apply for the exam while pursuing in 12th.

NDA stands for National Defence Academy. The exam is conducted by UPSC twice in a year named NDA-I and NDA-II. The exam is conducted for only male candidates.

for NDA your age must be within 16.5 years to 19 years.

NDA exam is conducted in two phases:
1. Written
2. SSB
There is no limit of Number of Attempts in NDA. Within age limit you can apply any number of times.

IAF is the Indian Air force examination which is conducted for the selection of candidates in to different sectors of the air force and the selections are conducted through the NDA|CDS|NCC examinations and as you are of 12th you can appear through the NDA examination

In order to appear after 12th you must have completed the 12th with at least 55% of the marks with maths and Physics as the subjects from any of the recognized board of study.

After 10+2, the best option to join Indian Air Force is through National Defence Academy examination. NDA/NA examination is conducted by Union Public Service Commission twice every year.

>>10+2 passed or appearing candidates can apply for NDA/NA exam. For Indian Airforce, you must have studied Physics, Mathematics in 10+2. Candidates with passing percentage of marks in 10+2 can also apply for NDA/NA exam.

>>Age limit is 16.5-19.5 years.

>>Only unmarried male candidates can apply for exam.

Examination pattern:

1. Written test: There are two papers, one of General Ability test and other of Mathematics. You must have good knowledge of mathematics upto 10+2 to clear this paper and GAT paper consists of questions of general knolwedge, English and Science.

2. After clearing Written test, you must clear Service Selection Board which is 4-5 days physical, psychological test.

After clearing both stages, you will be able to join Indian Air Force.

IAF stands for Indian Air Force.
The best way to join IAF after completing 12th boards examination is through NDA.
NDA stands for National Defence Academy.
NDA examination is conducted by UPSC(Union Public Service Commission) twice in each year in the month of April and September.

Eligibility for students to appear in NDA examination are

-Must have 12th boards examination from a recognized University with atleast 60% marks in science stream with Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics.
-Appearing in 12th boards examination with same

After clearing written examination of NDA, students are called for SSB interview of 5 days then after merit list of the candidates succeeded is published on the basis of performance in both written and interview.
