Re: Can IFS Officers join Territorial Army? Eligibility to join Territorial Army: As per eligibility criteria you can serve the nation in two capacities as a civilian and soldier. Only male citizen of India and ex service officers who are medically fit. Age limit should be in between 18 -42 years. Qualification: Applicant must have done graduation. NOTE: Serving members of regular Army/ Navy/ Air force/ Police/ GFEF/ Para military and like forces are not eligible. |

Can IFS Officers join Territorial Army? Can the Indian Foreign Service Officers join the Indian Territorial Army? I know the IAS Officers can but I am not sure about the IFS Officers keeping in mind the amount of time they spent abroad. I will be appearing for the Civil Services this year and I have aspirations to serve the Indian Army also. |
