Re: Can I apply for Chandigarh Police Constable while studying in 12th class? You will be eligible for Police Constable only after completing 12th. Exams are conducted by Chandigarh Police recruitment department every year for various posts like SI, ASI, Head Constables and many more. But you will be eligible for its other posts like SI, ASI only after completing graduation in any stream. Eligibility criteria are as under:- Candidate must have passed 12th in science stream with a recognized board. Candidate age must be minimum of 18 years and maximum of 25 years. Candidate must have to qualify written examination, then after Physical Test (measurement and fitness). Candidate must have to go through personal interview. |

Re: Can I apply for Chandigarh Police Constable while studying in 12th class? If you are interested to become constable in Chandigarh Police when you have to appear in the entrance test. Selection procedure is done through written test and physical fitness test. The student should have done 12th from recognized board. Minimum age required 17 and maximum age required 25. Morst important thing that is needed is a driving license. |

Eligibility criteria to become police constable: Pass 12th from recognised board with any stream. Selection procedure by written test and physical test. You have to show driving licence. Age limit is 16 to 25 years. |

Chandigarh Police recruitment department conducts recruitment exam for the post of Constables, Head Constables, ASI, SI, etc every year. Eligibility criteria required to join Chandigarh police department as constable are as under :- -The candidate should have passed 10+2 with Science and Maths from a recognized board. -The candidate age limit should be from 18 years to 25 years .The upper age limit is relaxed as per Governments Rules. Selection procedure involves of following stages : Written Exam, Physical Measurement Test, Physical Fitness test, and Interview . The interested candidates who want to join Chandigarh Police as constable have to fulfill the minimum eligibility criteria: the candidate must have done 12th from recognised board. The age limit should be in between 18 to 25 years where as relaxation is provided to reserved categories as per government rules. The candidate should be medically fit. In addition to this valid driving licence is compulsory for all candidates from recognised licensing authority. Selection procedure: Physical Standard Test, Physical Efficiency Test followed by written test. |
