Re: How to become a police inspector? If you are interested to become a Police Inspector then first of all you need to pass graduation. UPSC conducts examination every year. You need to write UPSC examination for posts like IPS etc. Eligibility criteria are as under:- Candidate must have passed their graduation with at least 50% of marks from a recognized university. Candidate who belongs to reservation category get 5% relaxation. Candidate age must be not less than 21 years and not more than 30 years. |

IPS stands for Indian Police Service and this Entrance Examination is conducted by UPSC for every year. The minimum eligibility for IPS exam is that the candidate should meet the physical and other requirements as mandatory. The Basic Educational Qualification in order to appear in IPS Entrance Examination is that the candidate should be complete Graduation or Equivalent qualification in any discipline from recognized university. Applicant age should e minimum 21 years and Not more than 30 years at the appear in this IPS Entrance Examination and Upper relaxation will be given for SC/ST category and OBC category candidates. Applicant should be physically as well as medically for the examination. The Important Notification and other details regarding the examination will be published in Employment news paper and also updated in Official website of UPSC. So, If you're interested to become a Police Inspector, than we suggest you to apply for IPS Entrance Examination. |
