After 12th standard, Arts stream students may go for any 3 or 4 years long Graduation program from a Recognized University. ... They are not eligible to join Flying or Technical Branch of the IAF. Don't get dishearten, if you really want to be associated with IAF then with art background you need to apply for ground jobs like desk and clerical one or else in commander or officer level its not possible. Good Luck, Help100% |

Re: How to join Indian Air Force after passing 12th with Arts stream Very sorry to say that you will not be eligible to join Merchant with 12th in Arts stream. The eligibility criteria to join Merchant Navy are as under:- -The candidate should have passed 10+2 class or equivalent with Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics from a recognized board. -The age limit to apply is 16 years to 25 years. -Candidates should be physically and Mentally strong, fit for sea-services under standard norms -Only unmarried male and female candidate can apply for Merchant Navy. -Selection process : *Written Exam. *Physical Test * Medical Test *Personality Interview. |

Re: How to join Indian Air Force after passing 12th with Arts stream HSC passed candidates have the option to join NDA. Being a 12th passed candidate in arts, you can join to army only. Those who have studied Physics and Mathematics as subjects can join to air force. They can join to any of the three wings of defense. Also, you must be an unmarried male below 19 years of age. |
