Re: Am I eligible to apply for IAS exam if I wear spectacles?

IAS stands for Indian Administrative Services. For becoming IAS officer, a candidate must clear all three stages of Civil Services examination which is considered to be the most toughest examination of India.

Eligibility criteria:

Bachelor's degree passed or appearing for final year candidates can apply for exam. There are so many candidates who wear spectacles and hence there will be no issue if you wear spectacles.

You must crack the different stages of exam to become IAS officer. Spectacles will not be a hindrance. The minimum age limit is 21 years and upper age limit depends upon category to which you belong.

Re: Am I eligible to apply for IAS exam if I wear spectacles?

You can apply for Indian Administrative services exam after bachelor's degree. There is no such eligibility criteria that candidates who wear spectacles can not apply for examination.

If you are graduate or in final year of bachelor's degree and your minimum age limit should be at least 21 years. Wearing spectacles does not have any effect on eligibility criteria for IAS exam.
