Re: What is the eligibility criteria required for doing B.Tech course? B.Tech stands for Bachelor of Technology. It is a four years undergraduate course in different disciplines. The eligibility criteria for this course is that candidate must have completed 10+2 or appearing for it from a recognized board with important subjects like Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics and should have scored at least 50% marks in board exams. The best colleges for doing this course is Indian Institute of Technology located in various states of India. You can get admission in IITs for B.Tech after qualifying in JEE Main and JEE Advanced exam. Joint Entrance exam is conducted by Central Board of Secondary Education every year. You can apply for this exam and crack to get admission in IITs. |

B.tech refers to Bachelor of Technology and as the name suggests it is a bachelor degree course of four years after completing which one gets the designation of an engineer. For pursuing the same course, the minimum educational qualification required is a higher secondary school degree with Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics as the main subjects with a minimum of 50% aggregate from a recognized university. Students having done their diploma in engineering degree are also eligible for pursuing the same course. To be eligible to do B.Tech course, you must have completed 12th standard with MPC stream which consists of Mathematics, Physics and Chemistry subjects from a central/state government recognised board. To get admission in B.Tech course, you must have to appear in engineering entrance examinations like JEE Main (AIEEE), JEE Advanced (IIT), EAMCET, BITSAT, SMU EEE, VIT EEE, etc.,. B.tech stands for Bachelor of Technology and it is four year undergraduate courses after 10+2 and three year duration course after diploma. The eligibility to get admission in course after 10+2 is candidate must have passed 10+2 with PCM as main paper. Candidates have to appear and qualify in entrance examination as according to institute in which they want to get admissions. To get admission in IIT, NIT, state government colleges you can appear and qualify in JEE. It is tough to give you the best college as most of the colleges are best in some of the specialized stream. |
