To become a custom officer candidates have to qualify in Civil Services examination. The examination is conducted by UPSC every year.

The eligibility to appear for examination is candidate must have passed bachelor degree from any recognised university and age limit to appear for examination is 21-32 years with relaxation in age for reserved category.

So, you are not eligible to appear for examination but you need to start preparation for examination to qualify in it after bachelor degree. For more information about examination visit at www.upsc.gov.in.

In order to become a custom officer you will have to appear for the Civil Services Examination. It is conducted by the Union Public Service Commission. The Civil Service exam is conducted in two separate parts. They are the Preliminary and Main exam. Bachelor's degree is the basic qualification. Age limit should not be less than 19 years. The aspirant must score above 55% of marks. Candidate must have Indian citizenship. Must possess a vehicle licence. Ability to work flexible schedules. Should never have used drugs of any kind.

You are not eligible to appear for examination for recruitment in custom officer examination.

The examination is conducted by UPSC as Civil Services examination every year.

The eligibility to appear for examination is candidate must have passed bachelor degree from recognised university and age limit is 21-32 years with relaxation for reserved category.

The examination is conducted in three stages and candidate have to qualify in all three stages for final recruitment. For more information about examination visit at www.upsc.gov.in.

You will have to complete (10+2) and then graduation in any discipline to apply for custom officer. You will also require to crack entrance which is conducted by UPSC.

Eligibility
- You should have Indian Citizenship.
- You should have passed bachelor's degree with any discipline from a recognized university.
- Your age should be between 18 to 27 years. Relaxation is applicable 3 years for OBC and 5 years for SC/ST.

You will have to first pass 10+2 and then Graduation to apply for the post of Custom officer.

UPSC conducts civil services exam for recruitment in Indian Revenue Services(Customs and Central Excise).

The candidate who wishes to become custom officer has to appear in the civil services exam conducted by UPSC.

The eligibility criteria required to apply for Custom Officer are following:-

-The candidate must be a citizen of India.

-The candidate should have completed graduation degree from a recognized university.

-The candidate age should be in between 21 years to 32 years.There is relaxation in upper age limit by 3 years for OBC candidates and 5 years for SC/ST candidates and 10 years for PWD candidates.

-The civil services exam comprises of

*Civil Services Aptitude Test(CSAT)

*Civil Services Main Exam

*Personality Test.

Syllabus for the exam consists of

General Knowledge

Current Affairs

English Language

Test of Reasoning Ability

Test of Numerical Ability

To become a custom officer you need to get into the Indian Revenue Service first. The custom office department deals with taxation of goods brought into the country. In order to get into IRS you need to sit for an exam which is conducted by UPSC.

Eligibility Criteria:-

Educational Qualification: You need to have a degree in any discipline from a recognized university.

Age Criteria: 21-30 years

Selection Procedure:-
  • Civil Service Aptitude Test
  • Main Examination
  • Personality Test
The CSAT Exam is the preliminary exam which consists of two papers. Questions will be of objective type and each paper consists of 200 marks in total. On cracking this exam you will be selected for the main exam which is followed by an interview session where your intelligence, traits, values and personality are put to test.
