No, you are not eligible for Indian Engineering Service exam 2017.

IES Stands for Indian Engineering Service examination.

If you have completed bachelor engineering degree course from a recognized University, then you are eligible to apply for IES examination.

The applicant age should be in between 21 to 30 years.

Age relaxation:-

SC/ST = 5 years
OBC =3 years
PWD =10 years

Re: Age criteria for Engineering Service Exam 2017

Age criteria to appear in Engineering Services 2017 Examination is mentioned below :-

=> You must have attained the age of 21 years and must not have attained the age of 30 years as on 1st January, 2017 to be eligible to appear in Engineering Service 2017 examination.

=> Upper age relaxation of 3 years for OBC category candidates and 5 years for Scheduled Caste or Scheduled Tribe category candidates is applicable as per government norms.

Engineering Services examination is held once every year by UPSC and the minimum eligibility required for appearing in the same examination are as following :-

* You must have the nationality of India with your age lying within 21 years to 30 years till the 1st January of that year in which you are appearing in the same examination. Age relaxation is applicable for reserved category candidates as per the government norms.
