Union Public Service Commission(UPSC) conducts All India Food Inspector Exam for the recruitment of food inspectors in various departments of India. Eligibility criteria for the food inspector post are as under :- -The candidate must be an Indian. - The candidate should possess graduation degree in agriculture/pharmacy/food technology/dairy technology from a recognized university. -The candidate who have completed their graduation in Medical discipline can also apply for this post. -The candidate age limit to apply for the post should be in between 21 to 27 years. -Selection of candidate is made based on their performance in the written test followed by an interview. |

Eligibility to become a food inspector for Biotechnology graduate:- Graduate in medicine who have completed or undergone the training of food and sanitary . Candidate must have studied Chemistry, during their courses, Food Technicians, Pharmacy / Agricultural etc And above degree candidate can also apply. This exam is conducted by the UPSC in the month of July every year. |
