Re: Is it necessary to study PCM to become a Pilot in Indian Air Force?

Yes, it is mandatory to study PCM stream in Higher Secondary course to join Indian Air Force through NDA examination. The NDA examination is conducted by UPSC twice a year in the months of April and September every year. To appear in NDA examination for joining Indian Air Force, you should have to satisfy the eligibility criteria mentioned below :-

=> You must be an Indian National.

=> You should be an Unmarried Male candidate within the age range of 16.5 to 19 years.

=> You should have passed Higher Secondary or equivalent course with Mathematics and Physics subjects from a Government recognised board.

=> You should be Physically as well as Mentally healthy.

As per the information you have provided in your query, you are pursuing 10th standard at present, so, I advise you to pursue your Higher Secondary course in PCM stream, so, that you are eligible to join Indian Air Force through NDA examination.
