Re: What to do after studying Mechanical Engineering?

If you believe that you want to get out there in the market and know about your field practically or else if you want to earn money for your post graduation or you feel you need exposure then you must surely take up a job.
This is not desirable for some as they feel the need to be continuously employed rather than in bits or parts. Thus they take up higher studies.
Doing higher studies is important as it creates more job value.

Re: What to do after studying Mechanical Engineering?

Hello Friend,

There are so many options for you after your degree in Mechanical Engineering. You can either go for job or for higher studies also. The stream you have chosen is really good and has great future. The industrial demand is much more as compared to any other. All the time demand-able stream this is.

Well, as you have mentioned that you are in final year then from now you should start preparation of aptitude test in order to crack the competition exams of the company. This will be much better for you because you can gain experience in this field by working.

If you want to go for higher studies then you have to prepare for entrance exams like :

1. Gate
2. MAT
3. CAT
4. XCAT etc.

At this stage you should have to take decision very carefully that what do you want in future. If you want to go for job then you can also continue your higher studies from distance Education.

Wish you all the very best.

Re: What to do after studying Mechanical Engineering?

There are a number of options one can consider academically after a Bachelors in Mechanical Engineering. You can either opt to enhance your knowledge in the same field or opt to work for some time and opt for a management degree.

Find below some options if you are considering broadening your knowledge domain in the field or relevant streams :

• Aeronautical / Aerospace Engineering
• Automobile / Automotive Engineering
• Mechanical Engineering with specialization in Design Engineering / Automation / Mechatronics / Thermofluids / System Engineering etc.

Now with regard to the management options, apart from the popular Masters in Business Administration, you can consider options like Masters in Engineering Management, Innovation Engineering & Management etc.

Think on the above stated or get back with more elaboration on your interests and career goals so that we can guide you with the appropriate choice.

However, you must understand that successful visa interview is the last and most crucial stage of the entire application proceeding. It is here that you are under the tight scrutiny of the country representatives and the slightest provocation can lead to the visa rejection. There are certain rules and regulations one should understand and pertain to for successful visa interview, one of them being that the students understand he is there for the purpose of education and has no intention to settle there.

The right approach and attitude you behold is the key to successful visa interview and hence I would recommend you seek our visa counseling sessions where we acquaint the aspirants with the needful to face the interview. In fact, apart from visa counseling you may consider some of our other services where we offer assistance with the selection of universities, guidance with the preparation of necessary documents etc.

I would strongly recommend you consider our Counseling Services, where we have a team of professional experts willing to assist you with appropriate short listing of universities based on your profile, interests and individual preferences like financial restrictions etc. We further extend our services with appropriate guidance towards the preparation on necessary documents like the resume`, statement of purpose, reference letters etc. that to a some extent are motivating factors to give the extra push needed to face the stiff competition. You can also look for visa guidance in our services.

If interested, you may either drop your details in the link above or forward your resume` at [email protected] to initiate the procedure.

Also, it seems like you still have to take the test takes, as of now the most we can do is suggest the following links that should guide you with informative details and practice tests as well :

Revised Pattern-GRE

Test of English as a Foreign Language-TOEFL
Practice tests-TOEFL

I hope this helps!
