Your aim to get the highest qualification in the world is very appreciable.You can do Ph.D either by correspondence or by regular mode. Eligibility:You are eligible to do Ph.D by both the means.It is not mandatory to have NET/GATE scores to enrol for the said course. If you compete NET with Junior research fellowship,you will get scholarship of Rs.18000/ per month for the 1st two years & Rs.22000/per month after that up to another 3 years,besides being eligible for lectureship.You should be up to maximum 28 years if you belong to General category & 3 & 5 years age relaxation is applicable to OBC & SC/ST students respectively. |

Is NET/GATE score is mandatory for PHD. Is there any difference between doing PHD in regular/ distance. could you please suggest me the correct way. |
