IIT JAM stands for Indian Institute of Technology Joint Admission Test.This exam specially for the admission in P.HD & M.Sc courses.

Eligibility Criteria for IIT JAM exam :-A Candidate must have graduate with minimum 50% marks.
Online Application form for IIT JAM will be available from Sep 2015.
Last date for submit of Application form on 2nd week of Oct 2015.

# IIT JAM primarily meant for admission into M.Sc and P.hD degree courses in followings IITs:

* IIT Delhi
* IIT Kanpur
* IIT Bombay
* IIT Roorkee
* IIT Madras
* IIT Guwahati
* IIT Kharagpur

# Required educational qualification:

* Must have bachelor degree in B.E or B.Tech.
* Must have taken minimum 55% marks without rounding off (taking into consideration of all subjects of all the years).
* Candidates who have CGPA or letter grades must have grades equivalent to the required percentage.


# Important dates regarding IIT JAM 2016:

* Start of online submission of application form : 02.09.2015
* Last date of online submission of application form : 10.10.2015
* Last date of uploading the documents : 14.10.2015
* Date of Examination : 07.02.2016
* Declaration of result : 23.03.2016
* Online submission of form for admission : 15-24 Apr 2016
