Navy offers short service commission for women in Naval Architect, Law, Air Traffic Control, Aviation and education cadres. After competing your graduation, you can regularly go through the NAVY website and Employment News for Notification advertisement and apply accordingly. |

You have got 2 options to join for NAVY. One has a sailor, and the next as a officer. For Sailor grade entry have to finish you 12th and apply for the post whenever the recruitment notification occurs. For Officer grade entry you have give NDA Exam conducted by UPSC after your 12th Completion. NDA is a very competitive exam you have to be well prepared for that. So in both the cases you have to complete your 12th and then decide what you have to do.!! For NDA exam you go through UPSC and NDA website All the best |

To apply Indian Navy you need to complete the 12th from any recognised state board. To apply Indian Navy you can choose the NDA exam. NDA stands for national defence academy. This exam conducted by Union Public Service Commission twice in a year. NDA I NDA II NDA has three wings: Indian Army Indian Navy Indian Air force Eligibility criteria: Candidate should be citizen of India. Candidate should complete the 12th standard from recognised state board. Indian Navy and Airforce candidate need physics, chemistry and mathematics subjects compulsory. Candidate age limit should be between 16.5 to 19 years. No age relaxation applicable for other categories. Only unmarried male candidates are eligible. Female candidates are not eligible for this exam. Exam Pattern: Written Test Physical Test Interview |
